You treat the patient.
We get the pre‑approval right.

Mawafiq reads every document in a pre-approval packet, in Arabic and English. It checks the packet against the insurer’s own rules and drafts a cited pack your insurance desk can submit with confidence. The first time.

The problem

Pre-approval is complex by design. Hospitals absorb the cost.

A typical packet mixes an Arabic doctor’s note, English lab results, imaging and an insurance card. Each insurer has its own checklist for each kind of request. If one page is missing, the request comes back, and the patient waits while the desk resubmits.

The platform

From a pile of papers to a pack that holds up

Mawafiq supports the people who chase approvals: insurance coordinators, case managers and the doctors who answer their questions. Each step handles one part of the work, and together they turn a packet into a submission-ready pack.

Check

Against the insurer’s own rules

Each request type is checked against the insurer’s evidence requirements. It also catches mismatches: the wrong patient, an expired card, another insurer’s member ID.

facts cited to their source line

A physiotherapy request for Rashid, 42

His packet had an Arabic orthopaedic note, an English lab panel and an insurance card. The insurer also asks for six weeks of prior physiotherapy notes, a baseline outcome score and a home-exercise note. None were attached, and the Arabic note even says so. Mawafiq scored the pack 64%, listed exactly what was missing and cited everything else.

Rashid Al-Hajri is a fictional demo patient. All demo data is synthetic.

«لم يرفق حتى تاريخه سجل جلسات العلاج الطبيعي السابقة»

“Records of previous physiotherapy sessions have not been attached to date.”

One line in the Arabic note, and the reason this request would have been rejected. Mawafiq read it and flagged the gap.

How we build

Made for the people who chase approvals

Mawafiq (موافِق) means “approving”. It is built for Qatar’s private-hospital insurance desks, where packets arrive in two languages and each insurer has its own rules.

Talk to us

Cited, never guessed

A fact without a source line doesn’t go in the pack. Coordinators can check any claim in one click before an insurer ever sees it.

Bilingual by default

Arabic notes are read as Arabic, not as an afterthought. Names are matched across scripts, so راشد الهاجري and Rashid Al-Hajri are the same patient.

A person signs off

Mawafiq prepares, checks and drafts. A coordinator approves. Nothing goes to an insurer without a person’s say-so.

The approach

Not every tool works the same way

Building a pack is easy. Building one an insurer accepts means knowing the insurer’s rules, reading both languages and being able to show where every claim came from.
